How hard would it be to program a simple wind tunnel simulation?

For my computing A2 coursework, I was contemplating programming a wind tunnel simulation for my schools Green Power team (Building green powered race cars). I am interested in pursuing Aerospace Engineering at Uni and thought it would be a useful project to have under my belt when applying. However, my skills in aerodynamics are limited to AS physics and next years A2 physics. Would it be possible for me to create a simulation where the user can put in their side plan of their car and show where airflow and is good/bad or would I need the skills of a Uni course in aerodynamics?
