My girlfriend pushes me away, what can I do?

I'm 16 and I really love my girlfriend but sadly she pushes me away... And I know why she does it. I wont go into too much detail but basically she's pushed away every other person in her life due to a bad childhood and such. I'm always there for her and support her decisions and it's like I put her on a Pedestal and treat her like she's a princess. But she pushes me away and she knows she does and she tries to not push me away. But she syill does it sub consciously. She's told me she doesn't want to continue to push me away. But she don't now how to stop since she's kind of been doing it her whole life. Which I can totally understand. Anyway what can I do? I show her my love and she knows I don't want to hurt her. But she still continues to push me away. I want to make this work. So what can I do? I'm SO lost. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

Blood test results...is it a relapse?

I used to test positive for Hep B antigen and antibody (surface) then they said i was only showing antibody then they said i had cleared the Hep B from my system completely after 10 + yrs. of chronic infection. I have been suffering from chronic diarrhea and fatigue for more than 10 years now with occasional bouts of jaundice, abdominal pain in both upper quads and nausea. Help I am worried because they are sending me to an internist and I want to be prepared since I know they don't always tell you everything. Could I have never really cleared the Hep or is there other possible causes for these symptoms?

5 month old spitting up a lot?

My daughter is 5 months old and she had reflux up until she was 4 months, the doctor has cleared her from it, she has been off of her meds and is doing great! Unfortunately, she has begun to spit up a lot after her feedings and I don't know if I should worry about it or not. She drinks a 6oz bottle and of that, I would say she spits up at least 1-2oz if not more. Should I call the doctor, or is this normal?

How do you stop the airlock from filling up with the contents of demi john when making marrow / pumpkin rum?

I have been making Pumpkin rum (as marrows are now out of season) the sugar and yeast and spices were added to the hollowed out pumpkin just over a week ago and as the pumpkin had become soft i transferred the contents to the demi john and some scrapings of the inside of the pumpkin. it almost completely filled the demi john. now i find that instead of gases escaping via the airlock the gases are just pushing the contents of the demi john into the air lock.. i have emptied the air lock several times so i'm fairly certain that it isn't submerged in the liquid so i'm unsure why the gas isn't escaping properly!

Eh, you already know what's bad about them and I won't go there. So ya, I really don't smoke anymore, (maybe one or 2 a week) but I used to pretty heavily. There is no easy way to not chain smoke, especially when out of stress. It's all about self control, simply do not smoke the second or third cigarette. If there is a situation you smoke especially heavily in, stop smoking in that situation completely. For me, I always used to chain smoke when I was driving. I never chain smoked otherwise, but as soon as I hopped in the car, I was puffing on a cigarette from the time I turned over the engine until I got where I was going. Sometimes, I would smoke 4 or 5 in a row. When I stopped smoking in the car, it was unimaginably tough, so I just started putting my pack in the glove box so I couldn't get to it while I was driving to stop the temptation. After I stopped smoking in the car, I pretty much stopped smoking. By resisting the urge to smoke in the situation where I would just chain smoke, I cut back to pretty much nothing. Identify what situation your smoking heavily in, and stop smoking in that situation. If happens to be at home, then it may just be better to quit all together. Life will go on if you don't smoke.

Should I reverse the air flow in my computer case?

Okay, I made my own computer, and I must say, it's really good... it has Windows XP, I have a Xion case, 750Watt PS, AMD Athlon 64 X2 4200+ Manchester processor, 2GB Corsair XMS 3500LL-PRO RAM, ASUS A8N32-SLI Deluxe Socket 939 Mobo, XFX Geforce 6800 XT (256 mb) video card, 80 GB HDD (For now... I plan on getting like a 250 SATA), DVD burner... you know, the works... Anyway, The only problem is that I shove it in this little hole in my computer desk right against the wall which causes it to overheat... So I was wondering if you think I should take it out of the desk (Which would be a pain and I'd probably start falling over it and crap...) OR if I should open my case and flip all of my fans around so that the air intake is in back and it blows the hot air out of the front. Has anyone done this? I think it'll cool off my PC a lot. My motherboard is like 113 degrees farenheit and is usually hotter than my CPU!!! Okay, enough talk... somebody help me decide what to do... No water cooling.

Good Customer Service is what you're giving. If the owner is HIS boss talk to him, if not try talking to HIS boss before going to the owner. Do you have an Human resources person you can speak with? If so try discussing the situation with them and then maybe they can get together a meeting with you and your big mouthed boss. It's hard when someone else you can't stand holds the power, but at the same time his behavior is unacceptable as a manager. as far as his superiority most bosses do that. (My boss will give you any and everything he doesn't have to do or doesn't like to do to someone else) that's just being a B-O-S-S. I have it seems everything to put the internet on my laptop, an IBM thinkpad, referbished with total memory storage its drive is clean...A tech told me I needed service pack 2..is that correct, when I try to install the internet disk, same one used for desk top successfully, doing it by cable. Can you legally get a perscription if you're 18 from a doctor?

I'm about to turn 18 and for the past couple of year it's been significantly harder for me to concentrate in school, im constantly tired and restless and can never to fall asleep when i'm supposed to. I believe i have a mild case of ADD or some form of sleep disorder, however I haven't discussed this with my doctor since my parents health insurance still only covers for me to go to a Pediatrician and I'm worried what my parents will think if i have some sort of disorder. My parents don't believe in perscription medication, only if it's for something severe and I don't even really take Advil or anything. However, my friend has ADD and i seem to share alot of her symptoms, and I've tried her medication once (don't lecture me, I know it's wrong) and it worked wonderfully. I'm turning 18 very soon and since I would be considered a legal adult I was wondering how I could obtain a perscription for Adderall and around how much it costs.

How different (morally) is running over a cat than a squirrel?

I think it would depend on where you are. Some of the older towns have some weird laws when it comes to animals and livestock. Otherwise, I think more people would feel sorry for a cat than for a squirrel since they are more social and just about everyone has had one, or knows someone who did. Kind of odd to have a squirrel as a pet (unless you're Uncle Billy on "It's a Wonderful Life") If someone sees a dead squirrel on the road, they think, oh poor animal, where as when they see a dead cat, it's more like, oh, someones pet.

That is an awesome laptop, and a good graphics card to boot. I would recommend at least a 2.0 ghz processor (dual core) for gamming though, and the more ram the better. (get AT LEAST 2 gigs)

Needle on temp gauge still going up and down after changing thermostat and sensor?

So a few weeks ago I posted a question about my needle on temp gauge going up and down. I was given a couple of similar answers about changing either the thermostat or sensor...I changed both and my needle was stable for about a week... then I decided to go 2 bakersfield 2 visit family and before I could even get out of long beach, my needle all of a suddebn started going crazy again. The radiator is full and the needle only moves when I accelerate over 60mph or go up the slightest hill. Now mind u, driving up the 5 to bakersfield is mostly uphill, so by the time I reach the top of the hill my needle is at the top of the temp gauge, red hot..I pull over and open the radiator cap and the water is boiling, which means the engine is actually overheating and I'm not getting false readings. But mysteriously all this week the needle hasn't moved a milimeter... could it be the radiator itself or the catalytic converter since the check engine light is on because of the cat(I had the car scanned and the code for the cat came up)? Now I had the cat and all its components and the radiator replaced a little over a year ago due to an accident..... please help! I've run out of ideas!

i write the drums digitally in nuendo. i can't play drums worth a crap. i can kinda play the beat with my hands im looking for but when i write it in it just sounds not right. im tried changing tempos. recording the riff first then adding drums. and all im good at is writing straight double b stuff and blast beats and punk drums. but im trying to do stuff like metalore riff with simple beat, i just feel i got to many snares and kicks back to back with not enought resting between hits. also, is there a site that writes out some cool drum fills i could use? i suck at fills too.

I'd have to say that the most powerful and enduring law of nature would have to be competition. It's called survival of the fittest. The whole world is one big free-for-all, and every species is in competition with one another. Every person was born to live in their best SELF-interest. Greed is the driver of everything every person and animal does. Many people hate that we are destroying the environment and wiping out countless other animal species. What they don't understand is that we humans, like every other species on this Earth, were designed to do just that. People like the idea of a world where we all live in harmony together and prosper. Unfortunately, there aren't enough resources to support. The strongest, most adaptable species survive, while those that can't compete die off. It's nature's way of ensuring only the strong live and the weak die. Humans, with our superior technology, are constantly adapting with our constantly changing world, and any animal that can't compete with us is destined to fade into the fabric of time. Believe it or not, we are animals, too. Just really smart animals. We use our technolgy to make up for our stunning lack of physical strength. We are just doing what we were supposed to do, which is to rise to the top and dominate the earth. You may think that this is way too harsh and can't be justified, but you must remember that the morals we have are primarily a human attribute. Nature doesn't discriminate. Life is just not fair. Now back to the base topic that I have until now, ignored. Capitalism is simply modeled after the law of survival of the fittest. The rich are the most equipped to further our society, while the poor really have no means to do anything in particular. So, all the wealth winds up with the richest few who can make something of it. Income inequality is simply modeled after the food chain in nature. This is what capitalism does. It doesn't discriminate based on how we achieve our wealth, all that matters is that we do have it now. If you don't like it, make something of it. We are all entitled to do whatever we can to get ahead. People love nature, but hate capitalism, when they are really the same thing. Doesn't make much sense, does it?

Question about colored contacts, but there is a problem!?

I have a beign abnormality in one of my eyes (right eye) which is a problem with the dilator of the iris. The problem isthat the dialator does not function properly, thus making the right pupil smaller than the left. I believe this is called anisocoria, if I am not mistakened. Well, my question is are there any possibilities out there that can conceal this abnormality in the sizing of my two pupils? I have tried a free trial pair of Freshlook Colorblends, but it did not work well- it actually annunciated the problem. Besides, my normal irises do not have fancy designs on them, and the Freshlook Colorblends do, making them look fake. Are there any solutions to this? Are there colored contacts out there that work well the best and look realistic and maybe a smaller "pupil hole" in the colored contacts?

Un-wholesome Family?

I have been with my boyfriend for a long time now and we are planning on getting married. The thing is, I can not stop having doubts because of his family. My boyfriend is AMAZING. This is an odd question, but I know that from a christian perspective, unintentional sins aren't really considered sins. If someone doesn't know that their actions are sinful, then they aren't sinning. So this brings up an interesting question about atheists. Atheists don't believe in sin because no action would be a transgression against a god who isn't even there, right? So if they don't believe that their actions are sinful, then they would never sin. I always heard/read less than 4 oz juice a day (here we do juice half and half with water two times a day to equal about 4/6 oz juice) and between 16 - 24 oz milk. You do need to introduce an open up.............we use one at meal times. They just don't want your son dragging around a sippy cup with juice or milk in it all day long. Maybe they meant at least 15 oz of milk a day or that that is what you would get on WIC (enough for 15 oz a day and anymore you have to buy yourself).

Try to do things with both girls where they have to cooperate instead of compete. Make sure the step knows you love her. Have you talked to the step and told her that just because she wasn't born from you, you still care for her just as much as the other daughter? When you ask your daughter about her day, try to rotate out questions with the step too. Or try waiting until both girls are home and ask about both of their days. Try to make sure you hug and love on her just as much after your daughter gets home as before she did. She's wanting your child to see her getting attention too. Make sure she hears "I Love You" from you each day. One day she'll know its true and quit trying so hard. Right now she's just clinging to you and wanting a stable "mom" presence in her life. you really should not play anything for 9 months like your doctor said or longer. your acl injury will come back to haunt you in about 12 years. an acl injury is a tear in your knee, and like all tears they take a very long time to recover themselves back to somewhat normal. if you want to heal as fast and best as possible really follow your physical therapy and be committed. only you can make yourself better at this point.

I have changed the solenoid on the firewall and I have put in a new starter. sometimes I have to crawl underneath and start it on the starter itself. that works everytime but I don't want to have to do that.

What should we do now?

Over the past two weeks, my two daughters who were both diagnosed with rare terminal illnesses were frozen through cryogenics. It has been heartbreaking losing both of my daughters. My wife is pregnant with our third child. Genetic testing has shown that the child has a 99.9% chance of having the same terminal illness in the first 10 years. The other thing is that if they don't find a cure for 100 years, my two daughters currently frozen would wake up and have no parents. Since my unborn child has a high chance for the disease as well, should my wife be frozen with my daughters so that way they have at least one parent when they get out? I would hate to lose my wife, but I would also hate for my two daughters to wake up in a world without their parents.
