Will this travel carrier be big enough for 1 guinea pig on a 3 hour drive?

yes, I agree with you, it's definitely not big enough for 2, even for the trip home. and I think a small dog carrier, the wood shavings won't fall out, the bottom piece is usually closed. but oh, well.
