Is economic collapse caused by the lack of the Ten Commandments?

I remember when I was in school the Ten Commandments being on the wall . kids would look at it ,it was a reminder of right and wrong .I knew in my heart when they came down that it would be only a matter of time before the (if it feels right then do it attitude) would take over , I'm not religious but I read the Bible , it helps with answers to questions sometimes , now we are more than one generation down the road and in wall-street it started with men cheating on there wives , then they cheated their clients now I see because there is no one home to watch the kids , the kids are having with one an other , the Bible says that when things get this bad , God turns them over to their sins, Well he casts those people into the fire , the problem is that allot of innocent people will be hurt by the collateral damage
