My Newborn baby umbilical cord is bleeding?

I was getting ready to change my newborn baby boy diaper and i noticed that my sons umbilical cord was bleeding a lil i clean it and dryd it but it looks like its abt to fall off? i have him in a diaper only because im scared if i put any close on him the clothes will pull it off? kinda nervous? any advice? My newborn is about 11days old...
