Why do channels like nickelodeon and Disney channel portray teenagers in a stupid and unrealistic way?

Nickelodeon has Icarly. A show about a teenage girl with her own Internet webshow. And Disney channel has Hannah Montana. Another teenager that lives a double life! One as an average teenager (being sarcastic) and another as a pop singer that sings to little kids! And don't forget wizards of waverly place! A show about Teenagers that can preform magic! Honestly, do kids that watch these shows actually Think that this is the teenage lifestyle? Teenagers in reality have it hard, and we don't use magic or singing to solve our problems!
